人生的起伏是不可避免的，有时我们会经历困境和艰难，但这正是人生中重要的一部分。我们需要学会在长夜中痛哭，因为只有经历过痛苦的人，才能真正理解人生的意义。

The ups and downs of life are inevitable. Sometimes we will experience adversity and difficulties, but this is an important part of life. We need to learn to cry in the long night, because only those who have experienced pain can truly understand the meaning of life.

第一部分：难而不怨

在人生的旅途中，我们会面临各种挫折和困境。无论是在职场上遇到的竞争压力，还是在生活中遭遇的失落和挫折，都可能让我们感到沮丧和无助。然而，真正强大的人会将这些起伏看得平常，将生活视为一种修行的道场。他们不会抱怨命运，而是会反省自己，不断提升自己。正如《道德经》所说：“曲则全，枉则直，洼则盈，敝则新。”经历挫折和曲折的道路，我们才能更好地认识自己、明确方向，并建立新的知识和经验。与其一味抱怨他人和命运，不如反省自身，不断完善自己。这样，我们才能更好地达到自己的目标。

In the journey of life, we will face various setbacks and challenges. Whether it’s the pressure of competition in the workplace or the disappointments and setbacks encountered in daily life, they can make us feel frustrated and helpless. However, truly strong individuals view these ups and downs as ordinary and see life as a dojo for spiritual practice. They don’t complain about fate but reflect on themselves and continuously strive for self-improvement. As the “Tao Te Ching” says, “Bend and be whole, be crooked and be straight, be empty and be full, be worn out and be renewed.” It is through experiencing setbacks and twists in the road that we can better understand ourselves, clarify our direction, and build new knowledge and experiences. Rather than complaining about others and fate, it is better to reflect on ourselves and constantly improve. Only then can we better achieve our goals.

每个人都有自己的痛苦和困难，但是我们要学会坚持和面对，而不是抱怨和放弃。困境和挫折并不可怕，它们是人生中宝贵的财富，可以锻炼我们的意志和毅力。当我们面临困难时，我们可以选择向前看，寻找解决问题的方法，而不是停滞不前。正如一句古语所说：“困难只是暂时的，只要你坚持下去，就会找到出路。”在困境中坚持不懈，我们就能够克服困难，迎接更美好的未来。

Everyone has their own pain and difficulties, but we must learn to persevere and face them instead of complaining and giving up. Adversity and setbacks are not to be feared; they are valuable treasures in life that can strengthen our willpower and resilience. When faced with challenges, we can choose to look ahead and solutions instead of staying stagnant. As an old saying goes, “Difficulties are only temporary. As long as you persist, you will find a way out.” By persevering in the face of adversity, we can overcome difficulties and embrace a brighter future.

第二部分：静而不争

有时候，我们追求的东西并不一定需要争取。在快节奏的现代社会中，很多人都在追求名利和物质的满足，却忽视了内心的平静和宁静。有时候，适当地退一步，反而会得到意想不到的结果。正如老子所说：“夫唯不争，故天下莫能与之争。”静而不争，不仅能保护我们的精力和元气，还能减少烦恼和纷扰。一个不争的人生往往会更加幸福。当我们屏蔽了外界的干扰，不被是非和琐事所困扰时，我们能够更加专注于自己的内心世界和追求。张之洞在面对他人的嘲笑时，选择了宽容和理解，而不是争吵和报复。这样的做法让他赢得了他人的尊敬和佩服，也让他的形象更加正面和积极。

Sometimes, what we pursue does not necessarily require us to fight for it. In today’s fast-paced modern society, many people are chasing fame, fortune, and material satisfaction, often neglecting inner peace and tranquility. Sometimes, taking a step back can lead to unexpected results. Laozi said, “The more you try to compete, the more others will compete against you.” By being calm and non-competitive we not only preserve our energy and vitality but also reduce worries and conflicts. A life without unnecessary competition often leads to greater happiness. When we shield ourselves from external distractions and are not bothered by trivial matters and conflicts, can focus more on our inner world and pursuits. Zhang Zhidong, when faced with ridicule from, chose tolerance and understanding instead of arguing or seeking revenge. This approach him the respect and admiration of others and portrayed him in a positive and proactive light.

在人生的道路上，我们常常会遇到各种各样的阻碍和困难，这时候我们要学会保持内心的平静和从容。不要急躁和冲动，而是要冷静地思考问题，寻找解决办法。有时候，我们需要放下争强好胜的心态，接受现实，寻找更好的选择。正如一句古语所说：“宁静致远。”只有在宁静中，我们才能够保持清醒的头脑，作出明智的决策。不要过分追求名利和功成名就，而是要注重内心的修炼和成长。这样，我们才能够更加从容和自若地面对人生的起伏和挑战。

On the path of life, we often encounter various obstacles and difficulties. In such times, we must learn to maintain inner calm and composure. Instead of being impatient and impulsive, we should calmly reflect on the problems and seek solutions. Sometimes, we need to let go of our competitive mentality, accept reality, and search for better alternatives. As an old saying goes, “Peacefulness leads to far-reaching achievements.” Only in a state of tranquility can we maintain a clear mind and make wise decisions. Rather than excessively pursuing fame, fortune, and external success, we should focus on inner cultivation and personal growth. In doing so, we can face the ups and downs of life and challenges with greater equanimity and composure.

第三部分：成而不骄

真正有本事的人从不自以为是，而是对任何人都彬彬有礼。他们懂得如何隐藏自己的成就，保持谦逊。戴震在面对皇帝的提问时，不仅没有显摆自己的才华，反而谦逊地表示自己的水平低于老师。这样的谦逊精神让皇帝赞赏，并赐予他高官的称号。真正厉害的人懂得如何保持谦逊，不会过分炫耀自己的成就，而是更加注重内心的修炼和成长。这样的态度让他们能够更加从容和自若地面对人生的起伏和挑战。

Truly capable individuals never boast or have a sense of superiority; instead, they treat everyone with respect and courtesy. They know how to hide their accomplishments and remain humble. When Dai Zhen was questioned by the emperor, he not only refrained from showcasing his talents but humbly expressed that his abilities were inferior to his teachers. This humble spirit impressed the emperor, who bestowed upon him a high-ranking title. Truly remarkable individuals understand the importance of maintaining humility. They do not excessively flaunt their achievements but instead focus on inner cultivation and personal growth. This attitude allows them to face the ups and downs of life and challenges with greater equanimity and composure.

在人生的旅程中，我们会获得一些成就和荣誉，但是我们不能因此而骄傲自满。成就只是人生道路上的一个里程碑，我们要时刻保持谦逊和谨慎。只有这样，我们才能够持续进步，不断超越自己。同时，我们要学会尊重他人的努力和成就，不要嫉妒和诋毁。一个真正有本事的人会用自己的实际行动和成果来证明自己的能力，而不是通过夸夸其谈和吹嘘来获得他人的认可。只有真正实现了内外的平衡，我们才能够在人生的起伏中保持镇定和自信。

In the journey of life, we may achieve certain accomplishments and honors, but we must not become arrogant or complacent as a result. Achievements are merely milestones on our life’s path, and we should always remain humble and cautious. Only in doing so can we continue to progress and surpass ourselves. Additionally, we should learn to respect the efforts and achievements of others, and not harbor jealousy or slander. A truly capable individual uses their actions and results to prove their abilities, rather than seeking recognition through empty talk and boasting. Only by achieving a balance between our inner and outer selves can we maintain calmness and self-confidence amidst the ups and downs of life.
